As a postdoctoral researcher at Technische Universität Braunschweig, my mission is to explore how AI can not only assist but also connect with people on a deeper level. My work on virtual companions aims to design AI that feels more human—capable of fostering trust and collaboration in educational, civic, sustainability, and everyday contexts. Grounded in information systems research, my approach is inherently interdisciplinary, combining insights from human-computer interaction, AI, and psychology. A key ambition of mine is to advance transdisciplinary research that bridges academic theory and practical application. Through design-oriented research, I want to enrich methodological approaches, creating AI systems that not only solve problems but foster meaningful relationships and promote sustainable behaviors.
